Benzoic Acid, Tech Grade

An aromatic compound synthesized from the partial oxidation of toluene, used in the production of plasticizers and for food and medical applications. Benzoic Acid (Purox B) is mostly used in the production of phenol which is primarily produced for its applications in producing plastics or Nylon. Its other uses are as an intermediate in the production of chemicals used in food preservatives or flavoring and in medical compound applications.
